Do you want to keep up to date with the news published on our portal?
It is
now possible thanks to the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) system included
on our web.
RSS is a sytem for delivering and obtaining contents (normally news)
from a web site. These contents are included in a document (RSS Feed))
that is downloaded and read with a programme called an RSS reader or a
function included in some browsers. With this system, the user can subscribe
free to the RSS files from one or more webs and thus keep up to date with
the news published there. The RSS reader that you have installed (or your
browser if it has this function) will automatically check the webs indicated
by the user and will display the most recent contents.
There are basically two possibilities either through an RSS reader or
a web browser.
As mentioned above, RSS readers are programmes that connect
to web sites that have this kind of information, download and display it
for the user. With one RSS reader it is possible to see the news from various
web sites. There are free RSS readers available on Internet. Key in RSS
in any search engine and you will see a list of results with various programmes
that you can download. One of the best known of these is the RSS Reader,
which can be downloaded from www.rssreader.com
With web browsers, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Safari 5 and Opera
9 all have integrated RSS readers.
Through the RSS reader:
Copy the corresponding RSS link for the section (or sections) that you
are interested in to your RSS reader.
Through your web browser:
If you use a compatible browser (see above), you only need to click on
the icon on the pages that have this system implemented and follow the
instructions from your browser programme.
